I finished paying my iva in august 2012 I am with grant thornton a year later I am still on the insolvency register does that mean I am still black listed grant thornton are still dealing with my ppis they should of started looking in to this well before my final payment and now this is delaying getting a certificate how long more do I have to wait

Hi Sharon and welcome to the forum
I am afraid that the only people who can answer that question properly is GT themselves. Have you tried to confirm with them a timescale for getting your case closed?

Hi melanie I have rang gt twice in the last 3 weeks the last time I rang them was last Friday and they told me they will get someone to contact me as soon as possible I haven't heard anything yet.

GT rang me on monday morning and said I will be getting my cc at the end of September.

That's great - but keep at them in the meantime to ensure that they are on target to issue the documents on time.

Hi melanie just rang gt and I have now been told they havent closed my iva I have been told It will be another 6 months wait for my cc they told me april now its not guaranteed though.

No they cant me a reason spoke to gt at the beginning of this month I was told september/october now its another 6 months wait they havent touched it.

What 'housekeeping' period is stated in your IVA? Have you been asked to sign variation documents?
