Nicola - Welcome to the forum. Your partner rating wont be affected unless you have a joint financial arrangement(joint current account etc) Also don't forget ask how the IVA company views you partner income and how the household outgoings are worked out - as this seems to vary across companies

Hi nicola
I agree with ginger. If youve got any joint finances there could be an affect. However I would ask your ip how they will view your partners income. Some posters have previously mentioned that their ptrs have not wanted to supply details for their ivas (or dont know about) and the ips have always seen to have reasonable approaches in deal with this for exampke split bills in half or be treated as a lodger. Id say its best knowing there approach sooner so you know exactly where you stand.
Good luck

Hi,
Your IVA should have no direct impact on your partner's credit worthiness.
As mentioned in previous posts, joint finances could affect your partner's credit rating, but this is due to the fact that you are both responsible for the repayment of joint debts. This will be the case whether you enter into an IVA or not.
Your IVA will NEVER be registered in your partner's name.
Kind regards.
