Hi
We completed our joint IVA in December 2011 and now we need to swap our interest only mortgage to a repayment. Regular high street lenders won't touch us until 6 years after we completed our IVA if we disclose we have had one but do we have to disclose it as our credit rating is ok nearly 2 years on from completion(with regular payments on a vanquis card)?

It is worth seeking advice from the forum experts on here - there is two mortgage brokers(Shaun & Ryan) who will help to point you to lenders. There will also give to advice about the type of deposits etc needed

Declaring the IVA if asked the question "are you in, or have you been in" is essential when applying for a mortgage. If you were to try and hide from the issue it could turn and bite you on the bum ! Honesty is the best policy ... Ryan comes highly recommended from me as a customer of his ...give him a call.
