Hi

I was wondering if someone could give me advise. I completed my IVA in October 2012 and have a credit building credit card which I pay off in full every month and mostly use 50% of my allowance. I currently have a mortgage which has never been defaulted on. My current house needs some work due to its age and I was wondering how likely it would be to get a re-mortgage next March/April with some extra money to do things around the house. I don’t really want to go to someone that charges high interest. I do have equity in the property and even with getting extra out. I would really like to sort my house out before the issues become a major problem and cost more than I can afford.

Thanks

Hi, why not have a chat with Ryan or Shaun who are both mortgage experts and their contact details can be found in the ask experts a question link to the left.

Would it be possible to remortgage with your current lender? unsure but it might be worth discussing this.
