Hi All, well it's been 2 months since I got my certificate of completion and it's such a relief to know that it's all done and dusted. I've also got less than 1 month until it all drops off my credit report as I'm reaching 6 years since my IVA was registered. Since then, I've been busy trying to get my credit records updated accurately. Most of them have been very good about it. I just have one company that is dragging its heels about updating the records. I've been inundated with junk mail trying to flog me credit cards to repair my credit history - nice to feel that I don't want any of them and am not desperate enough to do it anymore.
I have a couple of questions though...
I've checked all three agencies (Experian, Equifax and Callcredit). They each have different scores for me. Experian list me as excellent (??!!!), but the other two list me as poor, even with most records updated to satisfied. Why is this? I would have thought that they would all say pretty much the same thing.
The one thing I might want to do is apply for a career development loan to help with tuition and course costs, as I am due to start my professional course soon. Even at this stage...with 3 and a bit weeks before my history drops off, would I have a chance of being successful or should I wait another month before trying? I'm very reluctant to get credit ever again, the only things I would ever consider now would be mortgage, hp car, career development loan. Not all at same time though.
Any advice appreciated.
