I am my last year of iva , and pay £386 per month so I owe approx £4246 , could my son pay the debt off for me . or should I just wait

Hi. He could do. It won't clear up your credit file any faster, but will get you clear earlier. You would have to make it clear to your IP that the money is from a third party and is only for the purposes of a F&F -- if this is rejected the donor will retain the funds and they will not be available to the IVA.

If your IVA is in its final year, your IP may be reluctant to put forward an offer of full and final settlement as this may take a couple of months to present in any case. How may months do you actually have to still pay in for?

last payment due oct 2014
