Hi, I recently wrote to 3 creditors who were defaulting me monthly.

I list below:

Next Directory:

Date of default

09/01/2008 Default balance

£ 0

Express Gifts Limmited:

Date of default

24/02/2008

Default balance

£ 604

and finally TTi spc

Date of default

06/02/2008
Default balance

£ 1,053

I don't proclaim to know too much about these and all other accounts are up to date/settled. I've written to these three is there any more I need to do. This information is only from Noddle the other two which I understand may be different I am planning on doing when I'm off over Christmas.

Looking at the default date will these automatically drop off in Jan/Feb 2014 that being the 6 year marker.

Thanks in advance and I know this is a repeated question but please bear with me.

Hi Lesley I think they should drop off as long as the default date is correct , I recently contacted Tti spc and e mailed them my completion certificate etc ( funders@tdxgroup.com
) , they said they will update my details with them , most of my creditors are through this company , they did seem very professional so will let you know if I hear back soon or when I check my next noodle report .

Thank you for that, if I don't hear anything I may well just email them too. I only wrote a couple of weeks ago so not expecting much change yet. I was thinking that looking at the default dates that it would just drop off regardless anyway.

It is really a nightmare with some of these creditors. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help Lesley.

Thank you Melanie, hopefully they'll oblige but if not I'll give you a shout, you really do go above and beyond for your current and past clients. x

When I wrote to creditors I gave them 28 days to comply or else I would take it up with the ICO. Have you sent the letters recorded delivery? I understand that, if you have to refer them to the ICO, you will need proof of delivery.

I didn't send recorded delivery but have kept them so what I'll do next after 28 days is send again this time recordered and say I will refer them to the ICO if no further response. Thank you Skippy very helpful.
