Having read through a few posts can someone clarify that that you CANNOT remortgage remortgage or take out aa secured loan in order to settle the IVA as full and final settlement ?

Thanks in advance

Hi

You can take a a remortgage/secured loan to settle an IVA if your creditors agree to it

...and, of course, if you can find a suitable lender. If someone will lend, whilst you are in an IVA, it will be an a penal interest rate, which you will be stuck with for quite a few years when you MIGHT, after your credit history clears up, be able to remortgage again to a better rate.
