Hi and welcome

You can change your name, no problem

Becoming married will only affect your IVAs if each of your disposable incomes change, if you already live together then everything should stay the same

Ok so to marry in a registry office it is only £230 lower than the £500 inheritance entitlement, whereby that we wouldn't have to declair it.
we do live together and have done for 9years and our incomes and expenditure will not be changing at this forseable time.
still the question arrises can I change my name or do I have to wait till my iva has finished before we get married :s

Nothing stopping you from changing your name.

Firstly - congratulations to both of you in advance of the happy day.

And secondly - lots of people get married whilst they have ongoing IVAs - and the only thing you really need to be concerned about is whether there will be any impact on your income and expenditure.
