I have finally got to the end and am really happy that I have.
Just one final question, I am in possession of my completion certificate and have been advised to write to credit companies (experience etc) advising the, of me finishing as apparently it can take time for them to update records.
Any advise on this or experience?
Thanks and also thanks to those who have helped me with advise in the past
Regards rosalyn

The link to the guide that Foggy has posted is very useful and I used this myself.
Well done on completing, enjoy your debt free future.

Great to see another poster get off the IVA treadmill!
Whilst it's useful to let the CA's know, the IVA n defaults will stick on you CR for six years, so fiscally life starts after that point. (best wait till then) just my take on it
I didn't bother with a credit card, but did get a regular loan for a nice car and a High St mortgage with relative ease, in the 18 months that followed the six year drop off point. I’m not convinced about getting a little credit on one of "those cards" do anything mystical for your ability to obtain regular credit in the long run.
Best of luck for the new future you
