If somebody is going through a DMP with Payplan/Stepchange

and they are not working, but they are on Jobseekers allowance and getting housing benefit too,

-after the income /expenditure has been done with the company over the phone, then do payplan need these jobseekers letters, and housing benefit letters, to be sent to them ?

Yes, usually to prove the income that you're receiving. A copy of the latest award notice should suffice.

If you don't have the latest award notices you can request confirmation via the Benefit Centre number (0845 number) .... Www.gov.uk will also provide the necessary links etc.
