Hello
I have been in my IVA now 10 months and I still can not find myself on the register
http://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/ ... RVKRg.dpuf
I am still being hounded by Apex on behalf of Barclaycard who say they can not find me on the list either.
Is this normal practice?
Thanks
Sandra

You need to get this clarified with your IP and make sure you are actually in an IVA. It is possible that you are in an DMP or there has been a mistake.

NO definitely in an IVA with Grant Thornton.

Then you need to speak to GT and find out why your name is not on the register. There must have been an error made by somebody.

You could provide Apex with a copy of your chairmans report and /or proposal which would show Barclaycard as a listed creditor.

An IP for a well known IVA company was fined circa £10,000 not so long ago for failing to arrange for IVA's to be added to the insolvency register.

We had a similar problem but it was because we are on the Northern Ireland. Register and the companies were looking on the GB one,

As GT are Irish based could this be the same?

The register for Northern Ireland is also available on-line if this is applicable to you - but it is based on where you live and not where your IP is based.
It is up to the IP to register the IVA, but if this is causing you difficulties with your creditors, then ask your IP to sort this out for you. A quick phone call to the Registrar ought to resolve this matter.

You would only be on the NI register if you live in NI. It makes no difference where you IP firm is based. Where do you live Slekclarke?
