My IVA with GT finished in December although I do not have the certificate yet.
I would like to replace my old car with something a bit newer using finance, and was wondering if I can go ahead and do it or do I still need to talk to GT first.

If you do not have the certificate your IVA is still live. Whereas many IP's would say you have fulfilled your responsibilities GT might not.

In any event, it is highly doubtful that you will be accepted for finance with the IVA live and on record.
