Hi, we finished our iva n april 2011 and i am now in need of a car how do we stand on getting finance. Checked credit report everything looks ok.

As long as all clear on credit file including all defaults removed you should be ok with normal car finance .... I know forum members who gave recently gainef mainstream finance with Black Horse and Barclays.
If in doubt you could approach Moneybarn who specialise in finance deals for those with past iva's but interest rates will be higher.

If there is no record of the IVA and defaults etc you should have no problem with obtaining finance. If you do run into problems try Moneybarn, they have helped several forum posters

Hi if it all looks ok you should be ok to get high street finance, I recently did this through Barclays.
