Our first year is nearly up... blimey that's gone quickly!!

It's not been as bad as I thought, but by no means easy, either. What people have said about learning to become thrifty is very true, and doing on-line shops has become a god-send... not only because you spend/buy what you need - but with 2 kids under 3, going to a supermarket is a complete nightmare.

Anyway... our first review is about to take place, and our IP (Tudor Kirk) have asked for a years worth of Bank Statements and Payslips - and nothing else. We've not been asked to complete an I&E - but I guess they will take this from the bank statements?

Has anyone gone through an annual review with TK, and is this standard practice? Will we just get notified if our fee is going up/staying the same?

Hi, not been through one with TK but hoping someone else has.

Time does fly within an IVA I do agree.

Possibly ask them if you can complete a revised I&E as most things will be on bank statements but will everything be?

Seriously, do the IP's go through every expenditure on your bank statements, and do you have to justify each payee. Seems rather intrusive, where a simple income and expenditure is fine? For example I spent £200 in Next one month will the IP's say I am overspending in this area and must address this?

I know my IP didn't ask for a bank statement once and often says on here that it would be very time consuming to trawl through each one of their clients. All companies seem to ask for a variant of items when completing reviews.

I think its a little bit much to trawl through statements. If they question the next spending spree you can say that you have put your clothing allowance to one side to allow for this.

I doubt very much if they trawl through statements to any degree. other than checking specific allowances like power and other regular DD payments you have included as specific expenses ---- how you spend, say, the £400 housekeeping is entirely up to you.

We do not ask for bank statements as your allowances are yours to be spent as you see fit. We do not care if you shop at Lidl or Waitrose as it is not our business.

For my first annual review all I did was expenditure and income form and produced three months wage slips and p60 ,, no bank statements .

It wouldn't be the way I would do an annual review to be frank, but each to their own and I am sure your IP will get it right - even if they appear to be making more work for themselves!

Just chased TK for an update, and was told that they have 2 months to complete the review (would've been nice to have been told this) so will have another update at the end of September.

The thing that annoyed me most is the lack of communication. It is these peoples job, they do it day in day out, but for us, it's new. It's scary.

Keep us informed, please!
