Hi. My wife and i entered into a 6 year IVA agreement around 3 years ago. In Feb this year we seperated and we i formed out IP about this. They gave us a 6 month payment break. We have both contacted them by email but have had bo response. After numerous phone calls we finally got through. After completing new income & expenditure forms last month, they have suggested bankruptcy. We have been fobbed off by them ever since, it seems, they have had their fees from us. Now they are saying its up to us to contact them regarding the outcome of the reassessment but they wont reply to emails & they wont call us back when they say they will

Who are you with ?

If the new I&Es show the IVAs to be unviable it is possible that the creditors could be asked to accept payments made to date as a full and final.

That is really sad, to fail after 3 years, you have broken the back of it!
If you have separate IVAs, if you do a new I&E each, if you have over £150 disposable income each you can request a variation to your current agreement or if not request the IVA is closed down with payments to date.

However, this would all need help and assistance from your IP, which you are not getting. As foggy says, who are you with?

It is a joint iva. When I eventually got to talk to someone i was told payments need to now be made & the account needs to be brought up to date, but my ex wife got through & she was told that theres no need to start payments again just yet. It's so confusing & they're so unhelpful, im just sick of the whole 'getting fobbed off' feelings

Hi Stephen I dont think Evette would come on a public forum and propose something she would not follow up on. Please take her advice and get it touch with her. The soon you get this resolved (one way or another) the soon you can get back on track

Evette. With all due respect, i have sent emails to DFD without acknowledgement in the not to distant past. How do i know that this time is going to be any different?
Its funny that my ex wife gets a reply plus help & support from DFD but i get the opposite.
I know absolutely nothing about what is going on with our IVA.
I'm sorry if that sounds a little sharp but thats the feeling i get.

Hi Mole. In your eyes what would be a reasonable timescale to wait for a response, after sending Evette the email with all my details?

Have you emailed Evette? Dependent on what day/date I would give 3 working days for a reply and in my opinion that is being generous.

Evette, could you please reply to my emails. It has been a week now since I emailed you my contact details. This is getting very worrying for us, to not have a clue what is going on regarding our IVA. With trying to contact DFD via phone, my mobile bill was an extra £26 on top of what i usually pay monthly. Please could either you or one of your colleagues kindly make some sort of contact or response. Thank you
