I finished paying monthly payments last Feb 2014. Freeman Jones have got details regarding equity in early Sept but not sending things in writing and time is going by. Do not want to speak on phone as they say one thing then deny it when you be t call. Told would be debt free after 5 years now well into six years

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately you will I have to say contact them by phone to seek their update or contact them by email.
I personally would ring...get the member of staffs name and then ask for it to be followed up in writing via email to ensure you have a clear trail of understanding.
