I am getting a cheque soon from my lawyer this is for an accident claim how will this affect my iva

Hi and welcome, I think that it has been said that the pain and suffering part of the compensation may be able to be retained and other parts will be payable to the IVA. However as with everything it is best to check with your IP as every IVA is individual so do ensure you take case specific advice from your IP.
