Hi. my IVA is due to end on 16/11/14 and i've been told my completion certificate will be issued next week. The IVA started on 6/10/08 and was for 72 months with no extension. Theoretically, the IVA should disappear from my credit report, but will it? does it move from the public records section and get recorded elsewhere in the report?

Hi

It should move from the public records section once the IP informs the insolvency register that your IVA is completed. It should also fall off your general credit report after October

Sometimes a Notice of Correction is placed on the file, which they will remove when asked.

Hi

Good point from Foggy, the notice of correction regarding the completed the IVA will actually do the opposite of what is intended, it will alert creditors to the fact that you had an IVA

The credit reference agencies -- just email them via their websites. They are generally very helpful.
