I started my IVA in June and currently work 3 days a week. My mother provides childcare for 2 of these days. However after a family fall out at the weekend it looks unlikely she will continue to do so. This means I could only work one day and means I will lose my job. How will this affect my IVA? I will not be entitled to benefits as my husband earns too much. All I will have is the child benefit coming in

You will need to discuss this with your IP. Below a certain repayment amount the IVA will become unviable and, in any event, any large reduction will need to be agreed by your creditors.

Some IP firms (e.g. ckeardebt) have income protection and will pay your monthly fees if you become unemployed
