Hi.
I currently have on ongoing PPI investigation through DRSP. The investigation is complete apart from one payout which is currently in dispute. With my IVA now almost complete this dispute is going to delay my completion. It's now 2 years since my PPI investigation started.
My question is: when a PPI payout is in dispute who looks into it? Is it the ombudsman? If so can I contact them? I want to try and speed up the process as 2 years is ridiculous. Has anyone else had a payout go through a dispute?
Thanks
Dan

The ombudsman has a backlog of up to 18 months ... I doubt there is anything you can do to speed them up. As your IP if they will accept an assignment of the potential refund, which gives them irrevocable rights to it and should allow completion.

Hi

Good advice from Foggy, it is possible that your IP can issue a completion certificate whilst there is still a PPI claim outstanding
