We finished our iva 2 year's ago but have only just got our completion certificate. When will our credit improve and do we have to tell the credit reference agency or is it automatically updated.
Credit files will improve 6 years from the start of the IVA, or when the certificate is issued if that is longer.
Your IP will inform the Insolvency Service. Mine also informed the credit reference agencies, but I am not sure that all do.
