I have finished my IVA this month and am now waiting for my certificate of completion later this year. I will be looking to get a mortgage as soon as i can when it all clears off my credit file. I have got a capital one credit card and a next clothing account and spent token amounts on each so i will have repayments starting to show on my account. Is there anything more i could do in preparation for the end of the year when i could apply for a mortgage?

I would chat to Ryan one of the forum mortgage experts. He will be able to guide you on what to do now to prepare ..contact details are on the left under ask the expert

Ok, I'm a little confused as I thought this would have been answered by someone like that as I clicked on "ask the experts a question". I can't seem to see the contact details that you have mentioned either...is it a case of not being able to see the forest for the trees...?

Click on the ask a question button .. do not fill in the boxes .... just scroll down to fine Ryan's and Shauns Contact details.

Also look here for clean up information:
