Hi there, has anyone else had the letter explaining that EIC has been changed to another company, what will this mean. Thanks anybody

EIC was a trading a name of Creditfix.

Cases have been transferred to Consumer Adviser Services Ltd (previously known as Accident Management Services Ltd).

I'm assuming this is being done because it means that CF then have to deal with one less regulator directly given changes that happened at the end of January 2015.

It wouldn't surprise me if they have bought CAS Ltd given the Ltd company protection that it offers to them whilst still allowing them to benefit from charging 30% etc. for doing PPI.

The last bit is just conspiracy theory.

I had the same letter I am with GT and EIC were / are doing our PPI stuff

I got it as well but all my PPI's were closed and finished by them 6 weeks ago, so sending out to everyone I suspect

This will be interesting; my PPI is with Clifford Watts. I wonder if they will send me one?
