You might be able to get it through a blanket policy for trade association members if your line of work has one.

Try Professional Insurance Agents Ltd., the Federation of Small Businesses etc. but first of all work out if it is really needed.
Some PLI can also be included in certain travel policies.

Try Axa ... we got PLI with iva still on file albeit it had finished

I echo all the above- especially the Federation of Small Businesses.
You could also Google for brokers who specialise in insurance for people with adverse credit.
My professional indemnity is with Axa also.
