[:(]
Had 6 year IVA starting April 2009 so have now paid 72 payments, Have been chasing and chasing since November to find out what happens now and I can get no answer at all.
Payments normally paid at start of month - what do I do at the beginning of May if I still haven't had anything from ip? Should I carry on paying, should I stop? I just can't get any sort of information from them at all!
Will this EVER be over???? Feeling like it's going to be around my neck until I die [:(][:(]

Did you go to CF or stay with PJG ?

In any event, I would stop the payment but hang on to the money ( just in case) --- a "missed" payment often wakes the system up.

With CF unfortunately, just feeling like it will never end and I'll never be able to move on with my life........

Hi

I would write to CF formally and ask the question, until you receive a response I would stop making payment after the 72nd one but keep any possible future payments to one side just in case there a further ones due

Is that safe to do even thought they haven't addressed the question of equity?
Dread the thought of them failing us now, after 6 long years, if we stop because they won't talk to us but don't want to just keep on paying forever. Not quite sure how many more times I can chase them when they just do not reply..........

The IVA won't fail until three payments have been missed. I would suggest a strong, formal letter requesting a reply within 10 working days. Failing this a complaint via the Government Complaints Gateway.

I totally agree with others. I would be ringing as well as writing to them making it almost a daily activity until I got an answer.

Send them a letter saying that you assume the equity review has been carried out and that the IVA is completed. Advise them that your payments have now ceased and ask for written confirmation that you have nothing more to pay. State in the letter/email that should they not reply before the next payment is due this will be confirmation that the IVA has completed and you look forward to receiving your certificate.

Agree with the letter and withhold any more payments until a reply is received. Very shoddy customer service and I do sincerely hope that they improve as all too often they ignore people.

Some excellent wording ideas for the letter/email above - it will end honestly so hang in there. x

Hi Pap - sounds like you're at the last hurdle - don't give up now! Follow the Michael's advice as regards the content of your letter. Good luck.
