Just to let all those who were concerned like me when I was handed over to Credit fix when I had two payments left to make that I have received my completion certificate three months after the end of IVA they were a little stuttered to at the start of taking over but found their feet and did a good job massive thanks to both companies for their support throughout the long five years a d we achieved a 70p in the pound on a 68 000 debt so feel my creditors received a reasonable sum. To all you out there take heart there is an end I sight and the relief at the end I amazing

Well done on receiving your completion certificate, enjoy your debt free future and so pleased it all worked out well for you. CF do seem to be settling down now on the forum so can only be good one hopes. I've never had dealings with them personally. All the best.

Congratulations and well done, I will get there too [:)]
All correspondence with CF have been swift and professional so I can't complain either.

You say that, however they're still giving the wrong information when calculating whether there's any equity due to be paid into the IVA (they calculate the equity, then 85% of that figure rather than 85% of the property value minus the outstanding mortgage!) as well as using 'drive-by' valuations and telling people that they should be taking out secured loans in lieu of equity.
Add in to this the 'phantom' Susan Wriglesworth with whom no-one has been able to speak and you have a company that, in my view, cannot be trusted.
I dread to think how many people are taking out secured loans or incorrectly doing an additional year of payments because of the bad information given by CF.

Congratulations muddlementandchaos!
I appreciate your concerns Thisusername, and I know some have had issues, however I just want to add that I had no problems at all during My equity release with credit fix just recently. I sent in 2 of my own property valuations, and within a week they came back to me to say there was no equity to release. They used the 85% LTV too, not 85% of the total equity. I had got myself really worried that I was going to have an issue, but I really needn't of done. They were extremely helpful throughout. No suggestion of using a drive by valuation either.

CF, I am afraid, are not alone in these practices and, indeed, in some cases that is how the proposal is actually written regarding the equity calculation.
The trick is to understand your own proposal and obligations and be pro-active as well as challenging what you feel is wrong. It is your IVA, not theirs.
