Hi,

I have been on this site many time over the passed 6 years, and looking to be a future mentor.

My IVA finished on the 9th Oct 2014,I was with Beesley and co.
I got fobbed off with any correspondence until the end of December, they then informed me they have sold out to Creditfix.
I have been phoning creditfix on a weekly basis since then, I have been given excuse after excuse on "migration of information" "it's been passed to closures" on numerous occasions.
I keep being told that a case study expert will call me, but they never do.
My last conversation was today, 7.5 month's after my final payment was made, still the same conversation !!.

My question is, Should I now talk to http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/.

I don't know where I stand anymore, not paying, but frightened to move forward, just in case they come up with some excuse to keep me in it.

I have done house valuations and all sorts, with NO EQUITY AGREED!

Please can you advise what my next step should be !!

Kev

It's not fair to keep you hanging on that's a certainty.

I know Foggy knows which way to go with the complaints procedure. Have you tried the internal complaints procedure first? They should have one and it should be visible.

I hope you get sorted very soon.

Complain to the Insolvency Service.

At the end of the day CF should have done their due diligence checks prior to the transfer.

Any delays as a consequence are not your problem (and I seriously doubt the Act allows that to be used as a reason for delays).

Their own internal complaints procedure should be visible on their website or they should be able to supply you with the details ( if that that should be a cause for complaint in itself!).

The FO will not be interested. To complain about an IP follow this link:

Hi I echo advice above - also (if they do call you as promised) ask them to provide you with a written explanation as to the delay and tell them if you do not receive it within 7 days you will be making a formal complaint against them (using the link Foggy provided above)

Agree with others but would insist on all verbal responses followed up in writing ...

I would also try and remain on friendly terms however frustrating it is ... more likely to get your response in my opinion.

Greg Balfour was pretty good at sorting issues for me. If he's still there see if he can help.

Well this is what happened -

Monday I mentioned the ombudsman posted on their website.
Monday evening I got a call, saying closures would call me Tuesday.

Tuesday the manager phoned and emailed saying the only thing missing from the migration of file, was my final house valuation. that evening I emailed the valuation over.

Wednesday morning he phoned me and said he would go through it and get back to me on Thursday.

Thursday morning he emailed my closure certificate, hard copy in post !!

Result !!

Thank you everyone on this site for your help and support...

I'm free, at last.

Enjoy the bubbly as well earned. And a nice long Bank Holiday weekend to recover from any hangover.

Thanks Michael,

It's a long, long road, as some one once sang.
But we got there, hope every one else does on this site.
