Whew - 4th review done and as always with Cleardebt it's been a very easy process and very straightforward.
Payment increases £18 a month now for the last 10 months payments.
Cannot believe I am on the home straight now....10 payments to go. Not including tomorrow's payment.
I just keep thinking of how much money I can save / or spend after it's over. And for once it will be my money - no Credit!!!
I am having a glass of wine to celebrate the 4th review being done!
Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Waheey!

Well done! This last year will fly-by!

My final payment was today, I am going to treat myself to a small & cheap holiday.

But, I think your idea of a glass of wine is actually a better one :)

Enjoy your Holiday Tiva, after 5 years I think it's deserved.

Thanks Foggy. As much as it was my fault to get into debt, the IVA has been the best thing I have done. I dread to think of the mess i would have ended up in...

Spoke too soon - got confirmation letter today re: increase and it also says my account is in arrears by £214. Baffled by that as i don't get overtime or anything and have had no additional money that hasn't already been paid over. Anyway, I've emailed my contact at cleardebt for information. Maybe it's related to a pay increase I got back in August last year or the additional pay increase I received in Jan this year but i've sent in my company letters with the pay rise information. Never been in arrears throughout the IVA so just a bit disconcerting as I only have 10 months left now.

Well done - not long to go. I think a wine company should sponsor this forum!

Well done on getting this far. I'm just about to have my 4th review too. Maybe you would be able to add a little extra each month so you don't have to extend to address the arrears.

It's all sorted now... I made and extra payment last June to the IVA of £176 which was a cheque I had received from CPP claim. I had checked with my Client Services officer at the time and he had told me to pay it over to Cleardebt so I banked the cheque and duly paid over the money. At my review it was looking as though I had only paid part of my monthly payment so they were looking for the remaining £214 as my monthly payment is around £390. My May's monthly payment has come out my account today as normal. Anyway, Cleardebt have now refunded me the £176 as anything under £500 I can keep - delighted with that!!! It will be in my account tomorrow and my account is no longer in arrears as as the extra payment has been accounted for!
Whew!!! Once again, cannot thank Cleardebt enough for their prompt replies and sorting it all out.
