Hey everyone,

I have a company going through PPi claims for me and they have written to me to say that RBS can't identify me with info the PPi company have sent to them.

When I went into the IVA my overdraft with RBS went into the IVA. Is is possible to do PPI on bank account overdrafts?

do RBS and natwest share information such as my banking address?

Thank you for any helps here

RBS couldn't identify me either, I told the claims firm that it was their problem if they wanted the 30% cut. Never heard any more.

I think it is a stalling / avoidance tactic on behalf of the bank.

The PPI firm are asking me to complete an identity questionnaire..

Should I complete and return? I have emailed them asking why would you chase PPI on an overdraft but they haven't replied to my email yet.

My overdraft was in my old married name and I never notified them of my change of name but told GT shortly after I went into the IVA. So, could the stalling tactics be they are looking under my old name?

Thanks foggy

There could be a mix up over the name change -- and, I guess, no harm in filling in their questionnaire. Change of name was not an excuse they could throw at me :-)

I'll send it off tomorrow....

If RBS still can't identity me after I send off the identity questionnaire to the PPI firm will this then stall my CC with GT?
