Hi all completed my iva a couple of m9mths ago however noticed that my creditors were reporting defaults on my credit file throughout the course of my iva, ive read on here that no defaults should be being reported from the date my iva started,ive spoke with my ip who can't give me any information as they don't don't about it so here I am guys if anyone could advise it would be much appreciated.

You need to write to the data controllers of the creditors enclosing a copy of your completion letter and tell them to remove the defaults back to your IVA start date and tell them they have 28 days to do so otherwise you will report them.

They are only allowed to default the debt once -- but they will report it as defaulted every month -- this is standard practice. The default status can be reported, but no new defaults added with a date after the start of the IVA.

All of the reports will disappear along with the default on the 6th anniversary of the start of the IVA.
