Does anyone know if I can use an OU budget account for postgrad study whilst in an IVA? I could do with the course for career-furthering purposes

See https://www.ousba.co.uk/ousbaStudentNb/

It's subject to a credit check so 1) you would need IP permission and 2) if you get permission you would need to see if affordable and 3) pass the credit check.

Worth a try surely? Whats the worse that can happen?

If they do a credit check and it is turned down then it will leave a glaring black mark for a while after the IVA is finished.

I wouldn't want to risk that.

Yeah, definitely not worth the risk. Even if it WOULD have furthered my career and given me a better income in the end!!

Such a shame but don't think of it as the end just as a delay and then go back in to study. I enjoy studying and don't ever seem to stop.

Counselling course for me this year only my 2nd session tonight but I love it.
