Hi,
We have requested 1 year extension as could not remortgage but they can not request this as say our payments need to increase but we have had not letters or emails about this! Also I have since been made redundant at end of August. I can not reach anyone at DFD. I'm forever on hold. This month's bill was almost and extra £20 in calls. Help!

Do it in writing by recorded delivery, add in the letter you have been trying to contact them. Up phone but to no avail, detail your circumstances clearly so they can process all the information, then if they do t process by having sent of by recorded you can show you did your part and here's the proof !

Do the old fashioned thing and write to them instead. This will also start a chain of evidence if you need to make a formal complaint in the future.
