I am currently in an iva and have come home to a letter from a debtor advising that they have issued me with an incorrect Notice of Sums in Arrears and will be sending me out a cheque.
What does the incorrect notice of sums in arrears mean? And I assume I will have to give the iva company the cheque (don't know how much yet)

Personally not heard if this before but it sounds like it maybe they have overcharged you at some stage and now paying it back. Unfortunately it does mean it should be put into the iva pot but you may want to talk to your IP about it to see if there is any scope for you to retain some of it.
