Hi everyone
I am just about to make my last payment into my IVA, no extension, so totally made up.
But my question is;
Should I cancel my direct debit after my last payment? or does it stay active? whats the done thing?

Get it in writing that the company has confirmed that it had been cancelled or cancel but set some money aside just in case.

If it is a direct debit then the payments should stop being called. If you pay by standing order then you need to cancel that yourself but I agree with Lifenoteasy that you should just double check with your IP.
Congratulations on completion of the IVA and hopefully your entire wage packet will be yours in time for this Christmas.
