I have just completed a 6 year Iva with Debt Free Direct and have contacted them in regards to how they handled the closure of my Iva, I found that DFD were very unhelpful towards the end , when I phoned them to ask for a closure date they were very vague so much so that I had to start recording the phone calls as I felt very uneasy with the replies that I got , also my last payment was a decreased amount which I would never of known if I hadnt of contacted them first.
So far it has been just over a week now and I have had no response from DFD with regards to my email so that I could get some answers to my concerns.
I wondered whether the closure of an Iva was always this way or whether this is a one off

Some firms are slower than others at closure so you can only keep the pressur on. Send your correspondence in writing and keep records which will help if the delay becomes excessive.

Hopefully Laura will unlock this for you but if she can't going forward send a written request for an explanation and then you can escalate things via a formal complaint.
