Hi my partner has put an offer in for a full and final for the monthly payment times remaining years including a year for equity. HMRC have refused the offer but all other creditors have accepted but our ip is telling us that they need loydsto vote to get the majority and get the offer accepted. Our ip has been trying to get hold of loyds since before christmas and has told us today that if they cant get hold of them for an answere by 5 oclock today that the offer has failed. Does anyone know if loyds are usualy difficult to get hold of and accept offers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

When was the offer put forward? You should be able to have two weeks leeway before it is properly failed which gives your company time to chase Lloyds.

You should not try it yourself but I am surprised that they cannot get hold of them now. Keep on at the IP!!

Hi our original meeting was to be held in november but was moved to december because of an error with paperwork so i realy cant understand why loyds are so difficult to get hold of because the paperwork got sent out to them in november. I just cant get my head around it. Creditfix are saying they cant get hold of them for their vote but its been six weeks xx

I wouldn't suggest doing so personally, I do think this is the job of your IP. Keep pestering them to do so and to keep trying, I'm sure now Christmas is over they must surely be able to get in touch.

Thats what i thought that the christmas holidays have made contacting them difficult but we got told today that we only got till 5 oclock so its not looking good.

You're stuck in this situation and it's just not fair on you. How hard can a company be to get hold of. Surely even with Christmas there must be someone to contact. Pester them again would be my best suggestion and ask them to keep trying and not give in. Or ask permission to contact them yourselves that may just prompt someone to gain contact.

Lloyds normally use The Insolvency Exchange for their voting and they are easily contacted. I am surprised but also curious as to why HMRC have rejected. Surely it would be better to turn their vote.
