I am applying for a mortgage. I am on Experian as having an IVA but have never applied for one. Can I look into how this could be on Experian ?

Hi and welcome,
You need to speak to Experian and ask where this has come from - they should be able to help you.

Another thought Kevin - have you checked on the Insolvency Register to see if there is anything on there?
It may be a case of mistaken identity and the details are for someone with the same or a similar name.

Hope this has been resolved ? Its worrying when things like this turn up out the blue ..let us know how you get on with Experian
