Hello everyone, I have just been lucky enough to receive my completion certificate after a long slog through my IVA. Does anyone know what I have to do now to clear my credit file. Is my CC automatically sent to my creditors or do i have to do it. I believe some of my debits have been "sold on" to other companies so don't really know where to start. Any advice would be appreciated. many thanks

The credit agencies and your creditors will receive notification of closure. All the defaults and mention of iva should drop off on the 6th anniversary lf your iva start date.
If it were me i would wait a few months and watch the defaults drop off ... well done for getting through your iva journey

I did a little test 1 year after my IVA was complete, I went online and applied for a Barclaycard - 1 week later it came...However where the limit should have been £1,200 - they only madeit £800...Not that I am going to go down that road again..Emmergancy only....

Many thanks all for the messages. It wasn't easy, nor should it be but its a great feeling once completed. Felt a little deflated as I didn't get a "well done" from my IVA Company but the extra £1000 i have a month more than compensates.
