A mistake was made in my company pension i got an extra 50 pounds a month backdated to sept 2012 and received 1800 pounds after tax. I entered an iva in july 2014 and would like to know how much of this will the iva take.

Hi,
I think you need to speak to your company about this so they can advise you.

I agree, you need to discuss this with your IP. Some firms I have seen taking 50% of such a refund, others all of it.

It will depend on the terms of your IVA and how they are interpreted by your IP.
If in doubt you might want to get a specialist insolvency solicitor to help you, although they will need paying but if could help you get more money back in the long run if there is cause for a challenge. I can recommend a lawyer if needed.
