Hi I have an iva and I am now 64 I have just been made redundant and after this month will not be able to pay the 800 mortgage. I only receive 600 in pension and don't know what to do going forward would appreciate help advice

How long have you been in the IVA? Which company are you with?

I would suggest a chat at your local Citizens Advice Centre as a starting point.

What happens with the IVA will depend upon how long you have been in it.

Sorry to hear of your redundancy.
A full review of your IVA is required to ascertain affordability.
Did you receive redundancy pay? If so have you previously informed your IP so a review could take place. You should be allowed to retain some of the redundancy for general living expenses while you seek new employment.
