Hi, I have received a letter from the consumer advisory service referring to a past closed legal matter and that I should not be alarmed as the purpose of them contacting me is that they have identified I may be due to a return of charges previously paid in respect to past transactions. but that the issue is complicated to explain in writing and request that I contact them on 08000987940 so that they can guide me further on the matter. is this a scam???????????

They are ambulance chasers and, no doubt, out to make a profit for themselves -- bin it.

A lot of us have had them - don't bother contacting them and, as Foggy says, they are just out for themselves.

Don't listen to the above posters!!!!!! Please forward the letter to myself ASAP. My bin collection is Friday.

Personally, I wrote to them and demanded to know where they got my name and address from as I was a member of the MPS. Got a reply with an apology and a reassurance no further mail would be sent.
