Hello everyone, just a quick question. I've looked on my credit report and a lot of my debts are not with the original banks but with people like Max Recovery and sobco or something like that. Do they know about my IVA and will they start hassling me once my iva is finished ?

This is very common and companies like Max buy the debts and just wait for the dividends. They are actually very supportive when it comes to variations and full and final settlements so no harm in them owning your debts.

Even if they get in touch you can tell them to get lost once you have completed an IVA.

They are bound by the IVA in the same way as the original creditors were. Some buy debts not realising they are part of an IVA and might need reminding if they contact you. Max are pretty much on the ball and should offer no hassle.
