Hi I'm with knights bridge nearly 3 years into it, I've been disappointed because I was paying another company for 5 years before the Ivan I was told most of my debt would be gone, till I got a call from the debt company saying I qualify to have an iva nothing was explained they transferred me to knights brige where they set the iva up, this means I'm paying for 10 years and the debt has hardly gone down. Is it right for this to happen.

You were probably in a badly negotiated DMP before and the creditors didn't stop much, if any, of the interest --- these can go on for decades !!! The IVA will have a definite end point, where the DMP wouldn't have at that rate!

It is possible you should have been in an IVA long ago but never received the correct information or advice. There is probably little you can do about now but at least you have only two years to go. Had you remained in your DMP you may never have been debt free.

Sounds like a spectrum finance type setup.
Terrible that so many people line the pockets of some unscrupulous individuals thinking they are sorting out their debts only to discover they are treading water!!
