Hi, I have a family member who has incredibly kindly offered to pay off the remainder of my IVA as a lump sum.
I currently have about 15 months left on the IVA with a total of about £4000 owed. Any idea how much would be a reasonable amount to offer as a full and final. Also, if I offered £4000 then it took a further 3 months to process the paperwork have the creditors meeting etc, would this be taken into account? Thanks

With only 15 months left you would be looking at offering the number of remaining payments multiplied by the monthly amount --- mention in the offer that the sum will reduce by the amount of the monthly payment each time one is made between the offer date and the acceptance date.
