I have just applied to pay for pet insurance by direct debit. It stated there would be a credit check? has anyone had experience of this? I just wondered if It is just checking I am who I said I am as it's not a loan just a monthly DD?

Hi recovering,

I've had pet insurance with Animal Friends via monthly instalments all through my IVA and never had a problem getting accepted.

I had to make a few claims too and they were always straight forward and quick to pay out, I'm still insured through them now I've completed my IVA.

I use Petplan for my youngest dog - they cough up for dental treatment - Tesco for my oldest dog and they have both been great.
