Well after 77 months of been in an iva I am over the moon to say today our completion certificate arrived in the poet today after 57 days after our last payment.
First of all I would like to say thank you to Freeman Jones and their team on getting us to the end.We had our sticky moments but all in all they were great,always answered our calls and responded to our enquiries promptly.
Secondly I would like to thank this forum and it's regular posters who were a great help,and gave that feeling you are not alone,these people know who they are.
Thirdly to the iva itself in giving us back our life and learning how to budget and not to rely on credit.
Don't get me wrong it was a long 77 months,a hard slog at first but as we adjusted to life in an iva it became easier towards the end.
Now our lives start again so thank you all for been there and good luck to all who are starting out on the road to a debt free life
We owed in the beginning £101,000.
£94,000 claimed by creditors
Initial dividend 21p
Dividend paid 28p
Overall paid just over £33,000 into iva including fees
