Hi I owe 2475 in my iva which ends in November,but my family have offered to gift me 2000 to pay it off early,do you think there's a good chance of this being accepted ??

Depends on what you mean by "owe" --- are these the payments you have agreed to make ? Unfortunately, with ony 7 months left to run, you will not be making any real savings in time or money to offer a F&F now, which could take several months to get agreed anyway. You also have to factor in that the variation meeting will add around £500 in fees, so looking even less attractive to creditors.
How did you get on with the Police Force application ??

It depends on which Police Force it is with - some are different than others.
I agree your offer may be too late - the IVA will be finished by the time an offer is submitted.

As the others state, it's not worth putting an offer through at this stage so close to the finish, unless the standard 12 month extension applies to you for equitable interest over £5k in any property.
