PPI Claim Stat Interest refund

Good afternoon. Whilst on hold with Aperture this afternoon I heard something mentioned regarding a refund on PPI claims stat interest. From what I can make out the debtor gets a percentage of the stat interest back as a cheque. My issue is my IVA was sold on by cleardebt to aperture part of the way through. Is this payment standard for all companies or just Aperture? Any advice welcome. Thanks Mark.

Hi. A few firms do this, but it is generally an Aperture "thing" and, with them, usually only applies if you agreed to new terms and conditions when your case was taken on by them.

You might do - you need to check your paperwork and ask Aperture.

We were with Payplan and got the stat interest back on all successful ppi claims. Think we got back just over £4k in total! (that was from about 5 different claims) Was gobsmacked when we got the dosh and queried it repeatably, but Payplan were insistent it was ours to do with as we pleased! Hope this helps.

Hi. I got some stat interest back from aperture for PPI for agreeing to let them chase PPI refund. I didn't get back much because there wasn't much PPI
