It depends on the reasons you entered the IVA in the first place -- if it was because of gambling there might be a mention in the preamble to your proposal or in the Chairman's Report -- but the general understanding is that you will not continue to gamble if that is what caused the problem in the first place.

Agree with Foggy - if you have a gambling problem you need to get it sorted. An occasional flutter on the lottery or the odd horse race is fine. Overtime is usually 10% plus 50/50.

I dont have a problem for instance i earnt overtime this month and didnt bet it is just the odd 2 pound here and there and was with my overtime after id made my necessary payments. So i dont think its a problem as ive missed no payments and paid ny additional also it doesnt say you can bet in my agreement it just says lottery wins and inheritance are windfall so im guessing winning a bet is the same so should be an issue... either im not gonna bother anymore as i dont want to fail my iva

Small amounts on lotteries and the horses are fine and anything under £500 will be yours to keep.

You have an allowance for sports and hobbies and if you want to spend some of that on an occasional flutter I see no problem. I agree entirely with Kallis so try not to win over £500
